FTJ chiluba opts to support the MMD in 2011 to the PF

Second Republican President Dr Chiluba says he has opted to support Rupiah Banda prior to the 2011 general elections because Sata has shifted on his policies that he had in 2006.

Dr Chiluba who spoke through his spokesperson Emmanuel Mwamba said that Sata had policies that supported the poor and workers in the country but has since abandoned those policies and has chosen to attack the Chinese who have invested so much in the country.
He said that President Chiluba will always support someone who has in place good policies that benefit the poor in the nation.
Dr Chiluba said that he is the founder President of the MMD and his political umbilical code is in the MMD saying he has a fundamental right to support a party he founded and headed for eleven years.
He said President Banda has brought forward to this country pro- poor policies and has taken care of the interests of the poor and cooperate investors by seeing to it that the mines are operational again adding that he should not be criminalized for supporting President Banda.

And Dr Chiluba has dismissed allegations that he is on the Copperbelt to campaign for Rupiah Banda and has been holding dark corner meetings with residents on the Copperbelt.
He said he has already stated that his visit to the Copperbelt was merely for family matters and how long he takes or where he goes should not be anyone%u2019s concern.
He says he has been having meetings with people who petitioned him as former head of state on various issues wanting him to intervene in those matters.
