Mr. Anthony C Mumba, First Secretary Trade is inviting the Zambians in the UK to meeting on Zambian citizens' economic empowerment.
In a letter made available to UKZAMBIANS, Mr. Mumba said the purpose of the meeting is to enlighten, "fellow Zambians here in the UK about the Citizen Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC)". The Spanish rivals took first and second place in Deloitte's annual study of the sport's finances, with heavily indebted English champion Manchester United slipping to third because of the weakness of the British pound. Deloitte ranked the 20 biggest clubs on revenue. Madrid generated Euro 401.4 million ($567.3 million, R4 billion as at June 30, 2009) in the 12 months to June 30, 2009. European champion Barcelona returned to the position it occupied two years ago with Euro 365.9 million ($517.2 million). Manchester United generated Euro 327 million ($462.2 million) but would have continued in second place had the pound's value against the euro not dropped by another 7 percent over the year. ALL 32 teams playing in the 2010 Fifa World Cup will set up base in the host country, dealing a blow to South Africa%u2019s neighbors who were hoping to lure some of the teams. But Fifa confirmed on Thursday that all 32 teams had identified their bases, the majority concentrated around Gauteng Province.
